Moonray Studios is gearing up for a major expansion of its blockchain game, Moonray, which will make its console debut on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in 2025.
This marks a huge achievement for Web3 gaming, as Moonray becomes one of the first blockchain-based games to land on mainstream gaming consoles.
Since its PC launch on the Epic Games Store on July 2, 2024, Moonray has seen a great journey. Throughout its journey, the game has attracted 400,000 unique wallet connections to its ecosystem. The game quickly became popular among both, casual gamers and esports professionals alike.
Its arrival on console follows a late 2024 announcement of the game’s upcoming PlayStation 5 release, with Xbox Series X/S confirmed for later this year.
