Epic Games Store is revealing 3 additional free games for a limited 48-hour window, thanks to a collaboration with Amazon’s Prime Gaming.
While Epic regularly hands out complimentary games, this unique deal stands out for the games included, which are available only to those with an active Amazon Prime subscription.
Headlining the trio is Crime Boss: Rockay City, which is a 2023 first-person shooter that blends crime, strategy, and a cast of Hollywood talent. The game is developed by Ingame Studios and published by 505 Games. It has gained attention for its attractive gameplay of single-player and co-op missions in an urban underworld.
Another two games are Sands of Aura and Skydrift Infinity. Sands of Aura is an action RPG released in 2023 by Chshu Entertainment. Skydrift Infinity is a 2021 aerial combat racer from Digital Reality.
Both games add variety to the offer, which allows fans to enjoy exploration-heavy storytelling and fast-paced multiplayer action, respectively. The offer will expire on April 9.
Epic is using Prime Gaming to expand its user engagement and visibility. While free games are nothing new in the digital distribution arms race, the cross-platform collaboration introduces a fresh incentive model tied to subscription services.
