ZEP, a leading metaverse-based EdTech company, has officially launched its innovative platform ‘ZEP QUIZ’ in Thailand.
Since its inception in 2021, ZEP has transformed virtual learning by offering a seamless and interactive experience, which enables up to 50,000 users to engage simultaneously. With 12 million cumulative users and 1.3 million active users, the platform has established itself as a leader in the global EdTech landscape.
Building on this momentum, ZEP introduced its EdTech-based quiz platform, ZEP QUIZ, in April last year. The platform quickly gained traction in South Korea, where it is now the nation’s foremost metaverse-based educational tool.
ZEP QUIZ will streamline lesson preparation for educators, which allows them to craft multiple-choice, short-answer, and OX quizzes with ease. The gamified nature of the platform enhances student engagement. It is a factor reflected in its 10 million cumulative plays and 1.3 million total users.
ZEP launched a one-month beta trial of ZEP QUIZ in February. The response was overwhelming–500,000 users participated, generating over 1 million quiz plays. This resounding success prompted ZEP to officially enter the Thai market.
A local educator who took part in the beta phase lauded the platform’s effectiveness, stating, “Game-based learning through ZEP QUIZ has transformed my students’ engagement. The quiz-creation tools are intuitive, and the waiting area feature allows students to interact with before the lesson, which makes the platform highly convenient.”
ZEP has enhanced its platform with Thai-language support, traditional Thai attire for avatars, and culturally inspired virtual maps featuring landmarks such as temples and night markets. Future updates will introduce additional Thailand-specific content to further enrich the user experience.
