Netflix is taking a huge step into the world of Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games with Spirit Crossing, a cooperative life simulation game that promises to build connections and foster a sense of community.
Unveiled at the 2025 Game Developers Conference, Spirit Crossing is being developed by Spry Fox, Netflixโs in-house studio, and is described as the โbiggest title to dateโ by the developer. The game is expected to hit Netflix Games later this year and will be available on both Android and iOS devices.ย
Spirit Crossing invites players to explore a vibrant, ever-evolving world where they can gather resources, build and decorate their villages, and embark on exciting adventures with friends.
From gliding across lush landscapes to climbing, building, and even trampolining through this whimsical world, players are encouraged to engage in a variety of fun and relaxing activities.
The announcement trailer showcased the gameโs charming art style and the breadth of activities players can experience.

Upcoming Exciting Titles Coming to Netflix Games
In addition to Spirit Crossing, Netflix launched two other intriguing games. The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, which is a puzzle adventure game inspired by the streamerโs latest original film The Electric State is now available. Set in a retro 80s world, the game follows siblings Chris and Michelle in a gripping prequel story.
Also on the horizon is Steel Paws, a game created by Japanese legend Yu Suzuki known for iconic franchises like Shenmue and Virtua Fighter. Players will embark on a mission to conquer a mysterious tower that resurfaces every century, which is aided by loyal Buddy Robots. Steel Paws is set to launch on March 25.
