The leading electronics giant, Samsung, is expected to redefine gaming displays in 2025 with the launch of three cutting-edge Odyssey monitors, headlined by the 27-inch Odyssy 3D that offers glasses-free stereoscopic 3D technology.
The lineup also includes the upgraded Odyssey OLED (G81SF) and the 49-inch superwide Odyssey G91F, both packed with features designed for high-performance gaming.
Odyssey 3D
The unique feature of the Odyssey 3D is its ability to deliver lifelike 3D visuals without requiring dedicated glasses. By using advanced eye-tracking and lenticular lens technology, it generates sharp, high-definition 3D images.
For non-3D content, Samsungโs Video conversion transforms standard 2D scenes into immersive 3D experiences. The monitor contains a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 4K resolution, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync, which ensures tear-free, ultra-smooth gameplay.
Odyssey OLED
Available in 27-inch and 32-inch models, the Odyssey OLED delivers exceptional pixel density (166ppi for the 27-inch variant) and a vibrant 4K resolution. With a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400, and glare-free coating, itโs designed for gamers who demand top-tier performance.
Odyssey G91F
For those who prefer a wider field of view, the 49-inch Odyssey G91F offers a 1000R curve, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time. It supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, which allow users to display content from two devices simultaneously.
While pricing and exact release dates are not disclosed yet, Samsung is offering a $50 discount for customers who reserve their preorder in advance.
